It will provide a platform for collaborative dialogue among experts in the field\, with the goal of informing the development of innovative solutions to address unmet clinical needs in pediatric cardiac and neurocritical care. The Alliance for Pediatric Device Innovation (APDI)\, led by Children’s National Hospital\, intends to utilize the symposium’s proceedings as a foundation for crafting a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit applications for pediatric medical devices to be deployed during the perioperative care of children undergoing heart and brain surgeries.
